What is the correct application method?

Follow these steps: Activate. Develop. Set!

Activate – Dispense the product onto your fingertips and gently rub it to release and activate the encapsulated pigments.

Develop – As the shade transitions from white to your skin tone, apply to a moisturized face and continue blending for even coverage. The shade is fully developed when the product is no longer white. Observe as it adjusts to your skin, instantly blurring imperfections and evening skin tone.

Set – Allow 1-2 minutes for the shade to adjust fully.

Tip: For fuller color coverage, follow with one of our Total Protection brush-on sunscreens or our Natural Finish Pressed Foundation.

Are any tools like makeup brushes or sponges necessary for application?

No need! Apply Face Shield Flex SPF 50 with your fingertips to ensure encapsulated pigments are released and activated, providing the desired color coverage and guaranteeing the correct amount of product (at least a nickel-sized amount) is applied for comprehensive protection.

How frequently should I apply the product?

Use Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Flex SPF 50 as your initial layer of sun and environmental defense in the morning. Like all SPF products, reapply every 2 hours. For convenient all-day reapplication on the go or over makeup, use one of our Total Protection™ brush-on sunscreens.

What level of color coverage can I expect with this product?

A single, even layer of Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Flex SPF 50 provides medium coverage.

Can I achieve a fuller color coverage look with this product?

Absolutely. Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Flex can be layered for fuller coverage and is compatible with liquid powder foundation. After applying your initial layer, wait approximately 1 minute before applying additional layers to attain your desired coverage level.

Can I use multiple Face Shield products together?

Certainly! Create your ideal sunscreen ensemble by mixing, layering, and spot-applying any of our Face Shield products. All of them provide SPF 50 / PA ++++ protection and are water-resistant for 40 minutes. Just remember to apply a nickel-sized amount to your entire face to ensure full protection from the sun and environmental factors. The possibilities for creating simple everyday looks or complete transformations from day to night are endless. Here are a few suggestions to get started:

With Face Shield Classic – Combine Flex with Classic for subtle color coverage. Or spot-apply Flex to specific areas where you need additional coverage, such as blemishes, hyperpigmentation, or redness.

With Face Shield Glow – For light color coverage with a radiant finish, mix a few drops of Glow with your preferred shade of Flex and apply all over the face. For full coverage and a luminous highlight, apply Flex all over the face, then apply Glow to high points like cheekbones, around the brow, and the bridge of the nose.

With Face Shield Bronze – Blend a few drops of Bronze with your preferred shade of Flex for a touch of warmth and apply all over. Or use it as a contour or to add depth to specific areas after applying Flex as your base layer.

With Face Shield Matte – Apply Matte all over or just on the T-zone. Take a moment to appreciate the matte finish, then apply your preferred shade of Face Shield Flex for an even-toned, shine-free appearance!
